Eurostar Concrete Technology rebrands as BHS-Sonthofen S.r.l.

With effect from January 1, 2025, the Italian subsidiary of BHS-Sonthofen, Eurostar Concrete Technology S.r.l., will officially operate under the new name BHS-Sonthofen S.r.l. at its location in Udine, Italy. This step is part of the strategic integration that began in 2022 with the acquisition of Eurostar and strengthens BHS-Sonthofen's position as a leading supplier of mixing technology for the building materials industry.

Bauma CHINA 2024: Successful appearance in Shanghai

Last week, bauma CHINA 2024, the most important trade fair for construction machinery in Asia, took place in Shanghai and attracted experts from all over the world. With 3,542 exhibitors from 32 countries and regions, 281,488 visitors from 188 countries and regions and an impressive exhibition area of 330,000m², the show was an impressive meeting place for the global industry.

BHS-Sonthofen at the FILTECH 2024

From November 12 to 14, 2024, BHS-Sonthofen will be exhibiting at FILTECH in Cologne - the world's largest trade fair for filtration technology. One of the focus topics will be the rotary pressure filter (RPF), which is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. The BHS-Sonthofen team is looking forward to welcoming visitors to stand B48 in hall 8.

Horizontal vacuum dryer to produce pectin

BHS-Sonthofen has supplied a horizontal vacuum dryer HTC-T 7500 to produce pectin. Due to its stabilizing properties, pectin is used in a wide range of applications in the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries. In industrial production processes, it is mainly obtained from citrus fruits and apple pomace, which contain a high proportion of pectin.

Innovative horizontal dryer for the food industry

BHS has successfully delivered a horizontal vacuum dryer that was manufactured to customer specifications for a demanding application in the food industry. Several process steps can be combined in this machine. It sets new standards in terms of flexibility, hygiene and performance. The dryer is designed for three-shift operation and can process product batches of up to 7500 liters.
