BHS-Sonthofen rotary pressure filters have proven themselves in many applications. For example, Merck uses them around the clock to produce pearlescent pigments. Watch the video to find out how BHS filtration solutions give cars and cosmetics a shiny appearance.
The BHS rotary pressure filter (RPF) is one of the most popular filter systems for solid-liquid separation worldwide. It is a remarkable system that is far superior to any others in terms of the versatility, flexibility and performance it offers. The BHS rotary pressure filter (RPF) meets the high standards of the pharmaceutical and food industries thanks to the fully automatic cleaning-in-place (CIP) system it employs. The BHS rotary pressure filter’s CIP system facilitates an effective, validated decontamination process that is adapted to different process scenarios. Contaminated surfaces can be cleaned in a reliable and reproducible manner in less time with fewer staff-related costs.
Efficient glycol recycling is playing an increasingly important role in operating gas pipelines in an environmentally friendly manner. BHS-Sonthofen has developed a new process which recycles significantly more glycol than the processes used previously. As part of the mega gas plant project in Saudi Arabia, BHS was commissioned to design and supply three filter units. The large-scale project was carried out in six phases, from process optimization through to system transport. The entire project is set to be completed by the end of 2019.
ERZ Entsorgung + Recycling Zurich produces 5,000 tons of fly ash per year, which is continuously washed out. To efficiently separate the fly ash suspension from the washing water, ERZ is using the fully automatic, heavy-duty rubber belt filter (BFR) from BHS-Sonthofen.
For the mega gas plant project in Saudi Arabia, BHS-Sonthofen installed a total of three pressure plate filter skids and three candle filter skids and packed them for transport. The tasks are shown in time lapse.
Six filter skids (three pressure plate filter skids and three candle filter skids) are part of the mega project in Saudi Arabia. To get a good general impression of the skids’ size, please watch this video demonstrating their transport.
