Minh Duc's main field of activity is the production of prestressed spun piles, square piles and the construction of industrial, civil, transportation and irrigation works. The company already has several BHS twin-shaft batch mixers in various sizes in operation for the construction of concrete foundation in off-shore wind farm. Since 2019, BHS twin-shaft batch mixers of type DKXS 2,00 have also been in use for the production of centrifugal concrete (80 MPA slump 4 +/- 2 cm).
The twin-shaft mixing technology generates a three-dimensional movement of the entire mixed material. In addition, an intensive exchange of material takes place in the turbulent overlapping mixing circuits an intensive exchange of material takes place. The design of the drive allows the machine to be used in all kinds of heavy-duty applications, resulting in high operational reliability. Shock moments, such as feeding the mixer or different concrete consistencies with different aggregates, can be compensated for by the heavy-duty worm gear unit to a particular degree.
The mixing cycle in the BHS twin-shaft mixer DKX 2,00, with a total of 90 seconds, is approx. 15 seconds shorter than in a mixer from another manufacturer, which Minh Duc also uses. This mixer with a size of 3 m³, however, can only be operated with 2 m³ batches. Accordingly, Minh Duc achieves a 12 m³/h greater production output of centrifugal concrete with the smaller BHS twin-shaft batch mixer of type DKX 2,00.
The company is impressed with the performance of the DKX 2,00 from BHS-Sonthofen. The excellent quality of the wear materials also provide longer service life and shorter maintenance intervals, which are highly appreciated and confirmed by customers.
